The Washington Women in PR lunch was a talked about event. Women PR professionals got together to discuss trends in communications including social media and crisis communications. Undercurrents’s Gayle Weiswasser and Dallas Lawrence of Levick Strategic Communications provided tips “for best practices for working with clients to develop crisis plans before a crisis hits.” They also used social media case studies, i.e. Motrin Moms and the KFC Coupon Customers to exemplify the do’s and don’ts of social media.
